Larissa Moran is a TV Producer, Musician, Writer and Visual Artist.

Based in Glasgow, Larissa has worked all over the world having lived in Scotland, London and the Philippines. She studied Digital Film and Television production at Glasgow University and The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. 

As a Producer in broadcast TV, Larissa has worked on high-profile primetime series for major broadcasters including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Bloomberg TV, Discovery, Redbull TV, and Fashion One.

As a filmmaker, Larissa has worked for leading production companies including Ridley Scott Associates where she produced work for advertisers including Heineken, Volvo, Screwfix, and The Seychelles Tourist Board. She has directed a number of pop promos for labels and artists including Exquisite Records, 80s Lightning Bolt, Andrew Pattie, The Velcro Quartet, and music events including Bailey and The Fault at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, Kelburn Garden Party and Doune The Rabbit Hole Festival. ‘Emergency’ a short film written and directed by Larissa was nominated for an Royal Television Society award.

In 2020 Larissa returned home to Scotland to finish her debut non-fiction book and complete the production of her debut album under her musical moniker, Luna Neptune. As Luna Neptune, Larissa has toured internationally and received accolades and praise for her compositions and lyric writing from a range of tastemaker media including Fresh On The Net, Get In Her Ears and Amazing Radio.

In 2013 Larissa started work on her debut book From Ouch To The Big Ohhh completing the manuscript in 2021. Adapted the writing and research skills she developed through working as a TV Producer, Larissa is skilled at taking complex ideas and translating them for a mainstream audience to emotionally connect with the material, and thus From Ouch To The Big Ohh’ came into being.
